SFI supported students had been running NBMC Students’ Union for the last 19 years. We have many educational and political issues at national and international level. We always raise our voice whenever there is attack on mankind, be it in our campus or elsewhere.
We have organised many student movements for the development of our college and achieved the following:
- Potable drinking water project from Fulbari
- Increasing the strength of students in NBMC from 50 to current 100
- Introduction of many PG degrees and diploma seats in NBMC after long struggle
- Improving quality education in campus by repeated movements to increase the number of teaching faculty in NBMC and introduction of coaching facility (Dr. Bhatia’s coaching centre) for PG entrance
- Increasing the no. of housestaff seats
- MRI and a powerful generator for our campus
