Judges: Judges will be from leading bands of Siliguri.

Rules:

1. Each band with a specific band name and contact number must contain atleast 4 and maximum 7 members.
2. Each band will be given 20 minutes (including sound check).
3. Each band will have to perform two songs. One cover (may be with own arrangements) and one original song.
4. If the performance time goes over 20 minutes then 1marks/minute will be deducted.
5. Judges will be from eminent bands of Siliguri.
6. Judging criteria will be: originality, stage presentation, interaction with crowd, song selection, whole presentation. 10 marks on each topic.
7. Standard drum kit will be provided by the organisers. Bands must bring other instruments and drumsticks.
8. Mishandling  the drumset  and other sound equipment will lead to fines.
9. Violation of rules and misbehaviour at the venue will lead to disqualification.
10. The judges’ and organisers’ decision will be final.

Broadcast from Siliguri, Radio Misty 94.3 FM airs programmes in Hindi, Bengali, Nepali and English heard all over Darjeeling, Jalpaiguri, South Dinajpur, North Dinajpur, Coochbehar of North Bengal, eastern Bihar and Sikkim. Thanks to its popular content catering to all age groups, the channel shot to success within a few months of its inception and is a favourite with all of us. Radio Misty brings sweet melodies that remind us of the sweetness of Bengal, sweet aroma of tea garden, the brilliant rhododendron flowers, orchids of Sikkim, the picturesque toy train and the pine-scented air.

While we are all excited to make Plasma 2010, in its Silver Jubilee edition this year, a huge success and a grand affair, glad aren’t we to have Radio Misty as our har pal ka sathi! In the past, Radio Misty has shown great support and encouragement – in addition to being the radio partner of our college fest, they have stood by us and guided us at every step. It was a pleasure to work with Ranada  – Mr. Rana Mazumdar, Sales & Marketing Manager, Radio Misty 94.3 FM – who is more like an elder brother to us and spared no effort to make Plasma of yesteryear a grand success. We look forward to carry on the excellent rapport and great camaraderie we share with the fantastic guys at Radio Misty and work together to make the silver jubilee celebrations a mega event.
