Final - 2nd year vs Final year

0-0 (4-5)

A clear sky, a high turnout of spectators, live commentry on the microphone and 2 very strong sides – all the ingredients were ready for an action-packed final. The full-time saw several shots on target by both the sides but got drawn to a goalless draw and the match had to be decided by a tie-breaker. In the tie-breaker it was a great battle of nerves. Both sides kept their cool and despite best efforts by the goalkeepers netted all the balls till the score was 4-4. The best shot was probably by Dinesh da – the ball zipped to the extreme top right corner of the goalpost – while Durick da’s shot was the most powerful one. The tension was building up and it was the juniors who made the mistake. As Ziaul blew the ball way outside the post, they lost the tie-breaker. Hats off to both the teams for some great football on the field and kudos to the Final years, the champions!

Get some noise. We used to keep the medical school vibrant 24/7. Who is your best star in sports? How does he/she keep motivated in education? NBMC needs lots of all- rounders to carry excellence in the society. Look at the history!!
